জাফর ইকবাল , ক্যাডেট এবং আমার মেইলামেইলি

সাম্প্রতিক জাফর ইকবাল স্যার এর প্রথম আলোতে একটা লেখা নিয়ে বেশ তোলপাড় হয়ে গেল। সবাই (আসলে শুধু মাশরুফ) আমাকে বলেছে আমি শুরু করে দিয়ে হারিয়ে গেছি। আসলে ব্যাপার হল আমি একটু ব্যস্ত ছিলাম। তাই ঐ আলোচনায় অংশগ্রহন করতে পারিনি। আমি অবশ্য অনেক কিছু গোপনে গোপনে করেছি। এই ব্লগটা লিখব বলে কাউকে কিছু বলিনি। সবাইকে একসাথেই জানাই। মাশরুফের মেইল পাওয়ার পর আমি জাফর ইকবাল স্যার কে মেইল করি। এরপর ওনার সাথে আমার কিছু মেইলামেইলি হয়। সেই সময় আমি কাউকে কিছু জিজ্ঞেস না করেই কিছু স্বিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছি। কারো যদি মনে হয় তপু ভাই/ তপু আমাদের কাউকে কিছু জিজ্ঞেস করল না কেন তাহলে আমি সরি। আমার মেইলামেইলি গুলা শেয়ার করলাম।

আমি একজন এক্স ক্যাডেট । বর্তমানে জাপানে থাকি গ্র্যাজুয়েশন করছি। আপনার রিসেন্ট কলাম খানা পড়লাম। আপনার উদ্দেশ্য যদি হয় ৫০টা নতুন কলেজ বন্ধ করা তাহলে ক্যাডেট কলেজ কে আক্রমন না করেও এই কাজ করা যেত বলে আমার ধারণা। আর দুই ক্যাডেট এর মৃত্যুর কথাটা তুলে আনার ও কোন কারন ছিলনা বলে আমি মনে করি। এই পদ্ধতিটা আমাদের দেশের নেতাদের মত হয়ে গেল না? ইমোশনাল কিছু জিনিস তুলে আনা। আরো অনেক কারণেই ৫০ টা কলেজ বানানো বন্ধ করা উচিত বলে আমি মনে করি। অবশ্য আপনি যদি মনে করেন যে ক্যাডেট কলেজের কোন দরকার নেই তাহলে আপনার লেখা ঠিক আছে। আপনার লেখার ভুল ধরার ইচ্ছা বা যোগ্যতা আমার নেই। আপনার লেখা খুব পছন্দ করি বলেই পড়ে কষ্ট পেয়েছি। একজন ক্যাডেট হিসেবে আমি আমার ঐ ৬ বছর জীবনের সবচেয়ে আনন্দের বলে মনে করি এবং সবাই আমারই মত। তাই ভাল লাগেনি। আপনি যদি সময় পান নিচের দুটা লিঙ্কে গিয়ে বুঝতে পারবেন ক্যাডেট রা আসলে কতটা গর্বিত থাকে । আমিও নিজেও ফ্যামিলি লাইফ অনেক মিস করি তবে তাই বলে ক্যাডেট কলেজে গিয়ে ভুল হল বলে কখনো মনে করি না। আমি জেনেছি আপনি অনেক গুলা লেখা পেয়েছেন তাই আর বেশি কিছু লিখব না।

thank you for your letter. i am very very curious to know where did i “এই জায়গায় আমার মেইল থেকে কিছু তুলে দেওয়া হয়েছিল কিন্তু বাংলা লেখাটা ফন্টের গোলমালে ধরতে পারিনি আমিও বুঝতে পারিনি কোন জায়গায় স্যার ধরেছে। “ ” please let me know. i said a kid should live with his family- i will keep saying that – sorry. i am sure you had a wonderful life in cadet college, but i still believe a kid need to grow up with his family even if he doesn’t have a wonderful life!

Thank you for you reply. It is really a great thing for me to receive your mail. i have no intention to argue any more on the topic of cadet college or cadet. you cited two facts in your writing and i was present both of the event. as i was a cadet of sylhet cadet college i was in the auditorium when you came to our college. actually sir nobody refrained us to take your autograph but it was a simple regulation that we knew we should not go for you at that time. as we had to rush to another schedule. and the death of two cadets was the most horrible experience of my life. nobody feel the situation more than us who are present at that time in sylhet cadet college.

i am debt to my college and my teacher. i am from a middle class family and lost my father when i was in class seven. it would be really hard for my mother to bear my educational expenses and give me the facilities that other students get who want to cut a good figure in the examination. with the help of my teacher i stood first in board exam (HSC) in 2002. i think that would never happened if i was not a cadet.

no more argue from my side but a request. we have a community based on a internet blog site named www.cadetcollegeblog.com . we are thinking of a get together in dhaka. it will be a great honor and a matter of inspiring if you will join with us. i think getting a lot of cadet and spending some times with them is not a worthless at all. we will be highly inspired. though it is too early to inform you , but if you are interested then we will invite you at that time (probable time is august ) and make the program matching with your schedule. let me know sir.

মাশরুফ এইবার আর আমার উপর রাগ নাই তো? তোর মেইল পড়েই কিন্তু আমার মাথায় এই প্ল্যান আসছে যে ওনারে আমাদের সাথে ডেকে আনলে কেমন হয়। আর বাকি পোলাপান আগষ্টে একটা গেট টুগেদার এর প্ল্যান করে ফেল তো। কয়জন আসবে কত খরচ হবে সব হিসেব করে ফেল। এরপর আমরা ডোনেশন সংগ্রহে নামব। আর যদি অন্যদের এই প্রোগ্রামটা পছন্দ না হয় তাহলে forget it.
